Ingredients

- 3 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp. fresh herbs or ½ tbsp. of dried herbs (I used oregano thyme and rosemary)
- salt to taste
- 1/4 lemon or to taste

Instructions
- Wash the romaine hearts but leave the root intact.
- Throw on the grill, turning every few minutes.
- Remove when cooked and edges look a little brown.
- Serve immediately as a whole heart or cut up and toss for a salad.
Recipe Notes
If needed, adjust oil and seasoning according to the size of the romaine heart, just as if it was salad dressing. You want it to have a thin coat for flavor. Also, if your romaine hearts are very thick, you can always slice the hearts in half length-wise and cook each of them that way. This will enhance the flavor if the romaine hearts are too large.
